Explore Tarangire National Park and its many elephant herds on a day safari!
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha (or airport) and driven to Tarangire National Park, located approximately 120km away. Ranked as the 6th largest park in Tanzania with an area of over 2,500km², Tarangire Park is famous for its many large herds of elephants and the migration of animals that takes place during the dry season. It takes its name from the Tarangire River which flows through it. The river is an essential element of the park which has the particularity of being greener than the other parks in the country.
On board a comfortable 4x4 and accompanied by your ranger guide, you will make your way through the vegetation in search of the famous animals of the savannah: gazelles, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and birds of all kinds! You will be close to nature, observing the animals in their natural environment without disturbing them.
At lunchtime, a picnic lunch box will be served. You will be taken back to your hotel at the end of the day.
