Discover Hobbiton, the famous Hobbit village from The Lord of the Rings, and the stunning Waitomo Caves on a boat ride under their glowing ceilings!

From Auckland, you'll travel by minibus to the south of the island.

You'll travel through the green hills of New Zealand to Hobbitburg, one of the most famous movie sets in the world! You will be directly immersed in the universe of Tolkien, author of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. With its 44 "Hobbit holes", its mill, its arch bridge and its festival tree, the Hobbit village is now famous all over the world!

You'll have lunch at the Green Dragon Inn and then continue on to Waitomo for a guided tour of the area's beautiful caves. You will even take place on board of a small boat in order to admire at best the walls glowing thanks to the lights of the thousands of fireflies living in the caves. This natural spectacle offers a truly magical moment.

After this visit you will be escorted back to your hotel in Auckland.
