Set off to discover the Pont du Gard, the highest ancient aqueduct in the world!

You will admire one of the largest Roman monuments in France, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for its innovative architecture, the Pont du Gard was the result of colossal work by thousands of men, without the aid of machines or devices.

You will take a path along the monument that will allow you to appreciate the full measure of the Pont du Gard's technical and architectural prowess: 50 metres high, 3 levels, 52 kilometres long and built through the garrigue landscape.

You can learn more about this massive structure by visiting the museum located only a hundred metres away (admission included in the ticket). Models, small-scale reconstructions, virtual tours and sound theatres will reveal all the secrets of this building since its creation. The museum also offers numerous temporary exhibitions throughout the year.

Discover one of the best preserved Roman infrastructures in the world!
