Explore the Costa Brava in a day on an excursion combining nature, sea and medieval heritage!
You'll leave Barcelona aboard an air-conditioned coach bound for the Costa Brava. Your first stop will be Calella de Palafrugell, an authentic fishing village bordered by rocky coves and pine forests. You'll enjoy free time to explore the area or relax facing the Mediterranean.
At around 11:00 am, you'll join your guide for a hike of around 30 minutes on the famous Camino de Ronda. This former smuggling surveillance trail runs along the coast to Llafranc, another charming coastal village. This walk is accessible to all and offers spectacular views of the coast.
Then you'll have free time for lunch and, if you like, a swim in the sea.
The excursion will continue to Begur, a hilltop village dominated by a medieval castle and famous for its elegant Indian houses in Mediterranean and Caribbean style.
In the early afternoon, you'll discover Peratallada, one of Catalonia's most outstanding examples of medieval architecture. You'll admire an impressive system of fortifications, an ancient castle-palace, and a perfectly preserved historic center.
Finally, you'll visit Pals, a hilltop village whose center is fully integrated into a medieval complex. You can climb the 12th-century tower to admire a panoramic view of the Costa Brava.
The tour ends at 6:00 pm and you'll be back in Barcelona by 8:00 pm.
