Description

This is an absolute must in Dubai: the sunset desert safari!

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Dubai mid-afternoon and driven to the desert. Take a seat in a comfortable 4x4 and set off to conquer the sand dunes. Your group will be alone in the vehicle to limit contact with other groups. Your driver will have a lot of fun skidding and putting the pedal to the metal: adrenaline rushes guaranteed! 

Stop off at Al Quadra Lake before returning to your camp for the evening. There are plenty of activities on offer to keep you busy until nightfall! Try sandboarding on the dunes, meet the oryx and watch them feed, or simply take in the beautiful desert sunset. A barbecue buffet dinner will be served. A wide range of meat and vegetarian choices are available. 

You'll be driven back to your hotel in Dubai in the late evening.

Good to know

  • Availability: daily (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Departure time and location: pick-up from your hotel in Dubai (or Sharjah or Ajman) between 3:30 and 4 pm; exact time will be reconfirmed after booking
  • This is a private tour, the vehicles that will transport you from your hotel to the camp and back are just for you. However, other groups will be present at the camp. 
  • The driver of the 4*4 will adapt their driving in the desert to the passengers (speed, accelerations, etc.)
  • This tour is not suitable for children under 5 years old. We advise wearing light footwear and clothing covering shoulders and knees and bringing sunglasses and sunscreen
  • We cannot guarantee the presence of the oryx. In very rare cases, visitors may not be able to see the oryx
  • No alcoholic beverages will be served at the camp
  • During the summer months (June-September), temperatures can reach 42-45 degrees. Humidity levels can also exceed 90% during this period. We recommend that all our clients take adequate precautions, especially during excursions and stays in the desert
