Description

Enjoy a private excursion to Al Aïn, the garden city of the United Arab Emirates!

You'll start your day with a drive through the fascinating desert towards Al Aïn. On arrival, your first visit will be to Qasr Al Muwaiji, the birthplace of the late Sheikh Khalifa, former President of the United Arab Emirates.

Then visit the award-winning Al Jahili Fort, home to a permanent exhibition dedicated to intrepid British explorer Sir Wilfred Thesiger, known for twice crossing the Rub al-Khali, the Empty Quarter, in the 1940s.

You'll continue to the Al Ain oasis heritage site, where your guide will explain the workings of the ancient Falaj underground irrigation system.

Before heading to the region's largest camel market, you'll enjoy a delicious local lunch.

Your final stop will be at the foot of Jebel Hafeet Mountain to get a closer look at the popular hot springs before hitting the road again for a pleasant drive back to Dubai.
