Come and visit the Baume Obscure Cave as a family and participate in the captivating treasure-hunt!
Before departing, a guide-animator will tell you the fantastic story of the Baume Obscure. He will also give a mission to the children and adults and will explain the game that will take place inside the cave and in the forest (or vice-versa). The guide will also give out safety guidelines and will coordinate departures. A scroll will be given to you complete with a map, drawings, photos and text. The treasure-hunt consists in finding clues, resolving enigmas and identifying strange and mysterious characters.
In the cave, you will follow a secure and renovated itinerary up to 700 metres long and 60 metres deep while you enjoy sound and light animations highlighting the most beautiful parts of the cave that also help you along the treasure hunt. The voice of a geologist, informative panels and digital displays will also accompany you on this adventure.
To complete your mission in the forest, follow the indicated trails that total up to 1,500 metres. Once your misson has been completed, (in the cave and forest or in the cave only) the results will be analyzed and points attributed to the various groups. Thanks to these points and the clues you have found, you will be able to undertake the final test bringing you to the treasure.
A large part of the answers and solutions will be hidden throughout the itinerary, both fun and educational: in the visual displays, the commentary, the history and the characters onsite... testing your observation and attention skills. The games have been created so that both children and adults can participate, focusing on the most beautiful and interesting details of the cave.
The adventure will end by the opening of the treasure chest.
