Description

Discover the Tasman Peninsula by kayak and explore the caves, cliffs and shipwrecks around Hobart!

Early in the morning, meet at the Tasmanian Travel and Information Centre, located close to the sea to the south of the city. Accompanied by a local guide, you will prepare for you day out at sea.

Head towards the east of town by shuttlebus to Cape Huay where you will embark on a two-person kayak and begin exploring the area.

Following your guide, admire the impressive cliffs and natural caves and spot several shipwrecks. You will also paddle by the Totem Pole, a spectacular rocky formation 65 meters in height and 4 meters wide.
