Description

You will leave your hotel for the famous Eldorado canyon, a place which is truly legendary among gold prospectors. Beginner or expert, you will greatly enjoy driving your ATV along the canyon's roads. You will travel along the bank of the Colorado river and take a wild and mountainous road so you can see the canyon's magnificent rock formations and the flora and fauna which live in the canyon.

You will visit Techatticup gold mine on a trip which will take you right into its heart on foot! You will learn all about the history of the goldrush, and discover the techniques the gold prospectors used to use to search for this precious metal. Before being taken back to your hotel, you will have lunch in a small town built on the site of a miners' camp from the 19th century.

Good to know

  • To take part in this activity you will need to present your voucher to the tour operator on the day
  • Duration: 6 hours
  • Departure times: 07.00 in summer / 09.00 in winter. A shuttle will collect you from your hotel (service available for hotels located in Las Vegas only)
  • You must contact the service provider to arrange the exact time and place of your hotel pick-up. Your hotel reception can make this call. The number will be on your voucher.
  • You are advised to wear comfortable clothes. Open shoes are not permitted.
  • The trip may be cancelled if there is only one participant. In this eventuality another date will be offered or a refund will be given
  • An additional fee of $10 / person will be asked to cover fuel costs. This fee, to be payed on the day, is a stipulation of the service provider and as such is independent of our will.

  • Validity: every day (except Thanksgiving and Christmas)

  • This activity is only available for people aged over 16 (no matter which vehicle is selected)
  • Any participants aged under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and must sign a disclaimer in their presence.
