Description

Admire the splendid architecture and decorations of Banqueting House!

Discover Banqueting House, the only part of Whitehall Palace to survive the two devastating blazes that reduced the royal residence to ashes. The site offers an abundance of art and history. You can see the place that Charles I was excuted, as well as bronze sculptures and magnificent paintings by Rubens on the ceiling.

Banqueting House is typical of the Renaissance architectural style and also accommodates a chapel and a museum.
