Set off on a day trip by jeep to Madeira's north-west coast and discover Porto Moniz, Seixal, São Vicente with a driver-guide!
You will enjoy a transfer from your accommodation in Funchal or Caniço, and head to the north west of Madeira Island. You'll make your first stop in the village of Serra de Água, set between two verdant mountain ranges. Your driver guide will take winding roads and cross high plateaus to reach Porto Moniz. This small village is home to natural volcanic pools, which you can explore and, weather permitting, enjoy a swim. Your jeep tour will continue, and you will make a stop in Seixal, observe its black sand beaches and enjoy lunch (not included). Finally, you'll round off your day's excursion with a stroll along a levada, a former irrigation channel now used as a hiking trail, to the Boca da Encumeada pass. You'll enjoy many panoramic views of Madeira before being taken back to your accommodation.
