Explore Northern Martinique and its tropical landscapes by buggy!
Start off from the Leyritz Plantation, which was founded in 1713. Take a moment to admire the panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean on one side, and the Northern side of the island on the other. Once inside the buggy (which are easy to drive, visitors can also have a passenger) head out on a 3 hour journey that ends at the eastern slope of Mount Pelée. Along the way, take in the splendid views of sugar fields, and banana and pineapple plantations.
In addition, the tour will make several river crossings, and visitors can take a moment to swim under a waterfall. Cool drinks will be available throughout your drive. At the end of the drive, visit J.M. rum distillery, which is located in the village of Macouba. This legendary distillery is known for creating beautifully flavored rum. Afterwards, you will set out on the return trip.
