Go and discover the Chinatown area of Port Louis on a small group food tour setting!

In the past as one of Port Louis' most lively areas, Chinatown is now the symbom of diversity on the island of Mauritius. The area has done well to preserve its culture, notably its food culture. Departing from Caudan Waterfront, you will traverse the streest of Chinatown and discover the traditional Chinese shops and restaurants. With the help of your guide, you will learn how the Chinese culture influenced Mauritius.

You will stop at several restaurants and taste some typically Sino-Mauritian products. You will discover 7 local specialities (drinks and dishes), such as Chinese Peking style duck, the Mauritian bol renversé ('upside down bowl' or often 'Magic Bowl') and Chinese cakes. Throughout your trip, you will appreciate the friendly small group atmosphere and your bilingual English and French-speaking guide.
