Discover the most beautiful sites and monuments of Melbourne's historic center! Your guided tour will be organized as follows:

Tour of Melbourne's historic center

Departing from your hotel, a minibus will take you on a tour of the best sites in central Melbourne. Several stops will be proposed, allowing you to visit some of the locations by foot. Tour highlights include:

  • The Old Melbourne Gaol
  • Lygon Street  'Little Italy'
  • The prestigous University of Melbourne
  • The Royal Exhibition Building
  • Parliament and the Princess Theatre
  • St. Patrick's Cathedral
  • Captain Cook’s Cottage (optional entry – payable on the day)
  • Fitzroy Gardens
  • East Melbourne and its ornate Victorian terraced houses
  • Flinders Street Station
  • Federation Square
  • Collins Street (the most famous street in Melbourne)
  • Queen Victoria Market (tour included)
  • Chinatown
  • Royal Arcade, Block Arcade, Centre Place and Degraves Street

On Mondays and Wednesdays, the itinerary is slightly different, covering the following sites:

  • Lygon Street  'Little Italy'
  • The prestigous University of Melbourne
  • The Royal Exhibition Building
  • St. Patrick's Cathedral 
  • Captain Cook’s Cottage (optional entry – payable on the day)
  • Fitzroy Gardens
  • The Melbourne Sports Hub
  • The Royal Botanical Gardens
  • Southbank and the Arts Centre
  • Melbourne Magistrates Court
  • Royal Arcade, Block Arcade, Centre Place and Degraves Street

​Visit to Skydeck 88 at the top of Eureka Tower (optional) 

If you choose this option, after your guided tour, you will go to Skydeck 88, the 88th floor of the famous Eureka Tower, the highest skyscraper in Melbourne! At 298 meters (975 ft) tall, this building is one of the highest towers in the world, offering an incredible view of Melbourne and its surroundings! 

Options

When you book, you will be asked to choose one of the following options: 

  • Guided Tour Only
  • Guided Tour + Access to the Skydeck 88: As well as the city tour, get access to Skydeck 88, the 88th floor of Eureka Tower. Measuring 298m (975 ft), the tower offers incredible views across the entire city! You will be able to stay at the summit for for as long as you as wish. 

Good to know

  • Availability: every day (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Duration: 3 hrs 30 mins approx.
  • Time: 8:20am (hotel pick-up between 6:40am and 7:55am)
  • In order to participate in this activity it is required that you present your ticket voucher to the service provider on site
  • The excursion will finish at the end of your guided tour (guided tour option only) or at the top of the Eureka tower (guided tour + access to the Skydeck 88 option). Return transport to your hotel is not included in this activity
  • Additional activities/services may be proposed for a supplement fee on the day (e.g. a guided tour of Captain Cook's Cottage or coffee in a local café)
  • Your tour will be conducted in English
  • The tour is free for children younger than 4 years old who are able to sit on the laps of their parents
