Description

Visit the Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, the famous NASA launch site where you will discover the history of the conquest of outer space!

The Kennedy Space Center is one of the most famous NASA launch sites. It is particularly well known as the departure point of the astronauts who walked on the moon!

A bus will pick you up in Orlando to bring you to this historic site. With your ticket, you will have complete access to all of the exhibitions on arrival! Visit the command centre where you can experience a launch simulation then look at life-sized rockets as well as objects brought back from space. You will also be able to admire the famous Atlantis shuttle and the Saturn V rocket, the biggest rocket ever to be launched!

If you choose, you can meet with an astronaut who will tell you everything he experienced out in space (optional). You can also book a VIP visit accompanied by a space expert who will satisfy your thirst for knowledge with all kinds of stories and facts about the cosmos (optional).

As well as walking tours, a bus tour will allow you to cover more ground at this enormous site and benefit from the magnificent view of the rocket launch pads. Other surprises which will take you closer to the stars await you on site!

Your bus will take you back to Orlando at the end of this fantastic day out.

Options

Upon reservation you will be asked to choose one of the following options:

  • Standard tour 
    Kennedy Space Center General Admission (access to all exhibitions) + return transport from Orlando
  • Standard tour + Chat with an astronaut
    Kennedy Space Center General Admission (access to all exhibitions) + return transport from Orlando + meeting with an astronaut in a small group setting including light refreshments
  • Small Group VIP Experience
    Kennedy Space Center General Admission (access to all exhibitions) + small group guided tour until noon + lunch/merchandise vouchers of
    $15 pp + continental breakfast and snacks on tour vehicle -
    more time at venue due to smaller group timing needs

Good to know

  • Availability: every day (except in exceptional circumstances)
    The VIP tour is only available on Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Saturdays/Sundays and every day from 1 July to 31 August
  • Departure time: Between 7.20 and 8.30 a.m. depending on the meeting point you selected when booking (the exact time will be given when you book)
  • Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the time indicated on your voucher
  • It is forbidden to bring coolers, food or weapons into the Kennedy Space Center
  • If you wish, you can leave your belongings on the bus that will be transporting you
  • Important information concerning transport: The pick-up does not take place at your hotel but at specific meeting points. You will be asked to select one of these meeting points when you make your booking. These pick-up points are all located close to Orlando's major hotels (see list below)
  • Cancellation policy: No charge up to 24 hours for the standard tour, no charge up to 48 hours for the other options (meet the astonaut and VIP tour)
