Discover the islands of Antiparos and Despotiko on a caïque cruise!
Enjoy a relaxing day cruising the waters of the Aegean Sea on a traditional Greek boat to the island of Antiparos, Paros' 'little sister', and some other tiny islands along the way.
After a transfer from the nearest meeting point, you'll head to the port of Pounta, on the west coast of Paros. You'll then hop aboard a caïque, which leaves the port at 10 am for a cruise around Antiparos and Despotiko. On the agenda for the day: superb beaches, sea caves, and uninhabited islets... There's plenty on offer to show you all the natural beauty of the Cyclades!
You'll discover the lovely little island of Panteronissi. The water that laps its shores is so intensely turquoise in hue that you'll think you're swimming in a huge natural pool! You can then explore the south-east coast of Antiparos, which is dotted with caves, including the well-known Mastichari cave. The latter owes its fame to its impressive dimensions, as well as the oldest stalactites and stalagmites in Europe (around 45 million years old). There are several stops planned, so you can enjoy plenty of opportunities for a swim.
During the cruise, drinks will be provided on board (soft drinks and local wine), and in the middle of the day, a bbq lunchwill be prepared by the crew members.
At around 4:45 pm, the boat will reach the port of Pounta. Transfer back to the departure point.
Please note that this itinerary is subject to change: The captain will choose the best spots for each trip according to the weather conditions. Every cruise is unique!
