Whether with family or friends, learn about via ferrata climbing and admire the Sainte-Anne Canyon from the inside!
Via Ferrata climbing is a middle combination of traditional climbing and rock-climbing. This activity consists of a long trail along the rocky walls with equipment allowing climbers to safely move on tricky and abrupt terrain. Steel cables are fixed to the rock walls allowing you to attach your safety equipment and progress to the heart of Sainte-Anne Canyon.
On this continuous Via Ferrata trail, you will have no need to detach and re-attach your snap hooks. They will slide along continually on specially constructed plaques created for this throughout the circuit.
The circuit includes a 300-metre trail along the canyon and a zip line 60 meters in the air and 45 metres long! You will also pass under a Nepalese bridge on your way to the focal point of the Sainte-Anne waterfall. You can admire the falls from up close by observing the canyon’s famous ‘Cauldron’ created by spring floods.
