Discover many important places in San Francisco's history through a private guided bike tour!
After arriving at the meeting point, you will collect your bike and meet your guide who will accompany you throughout your excursion and who will share his knowledge with you. You will then set off to discover many points of interest in the city of San Francisco. Different routes will be offered to you so that you can visit San Francisco the way you want.
- San Francisco City Tour:
For this approximately 3-4 hour tour, you will board an electric bike to explore the streets of "Little Italy" in the North Beach neighborhood. You will tour AT&T Stadium and the Giant barges. You will pass through different neighborhoods, including:
- Rich Mission, to discover the mural alleys
- Castro and Nopa, where you will have the opportunity to stop in front of the Painted Ladies of Alamo Square to take beautiful photos
- Polk Gulch
Finally, you will go to Fisherman's Wharf to park your bikes. However, you will also have the option to keep them to visit the Golden Gate Bridge and bring them back before closing.
- Sunset Tour:
For this tour, you will have the choice between a classic bike or an electric bike. You will depart along San Francisco's famous Pier 39, near the Fisherman's Wharf district, and pass through Crissy Field, a former US Army air base. You'll get stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge before heading to Fort Point, a military fort built to protect the famous bridge from invasion during the Civil War. Before returning to the starting point, you will cycle on the oceanic west side of the bridge. On the way back, you will see the monuments of the Presidio. In total the tour will be 19 km for approximately 3 hours.
Golden Gate Bridge Tour
You will meet your guide in the Fisherman's Wharf district, and board a classic or electric bike. This walk lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours and takes you 15 km. You will head towards the Golden Gate Bridge and pass through Fort Mason, the Marina, the Presidio, Crissy Field and Fort Point. Then you will cross the bridge towards Sausalito, a fishing village where you will have free time. Throughout the tour, you will admire the important monuments of the city of San Francisco and Alcatraz Island.
Golden Gate Park Tour
You will leave for a 10 km tour, lasting approximately 2.5 hours, to discover the Golden Gate Park, which extends over more than 1000 hectares. You will pass through the JFK Promenade, the Conservatory of Flowers, the Botanical Garden and the Japanese Tea Garden. You'll cycle around Stow Lake to admire Strawberry Hill and historic ghost sites. As you continue your visit towards the beach, you will discover Spreckels Lake and even the Bison Paddock. Once on the beach, you will take the seaside cycle paths to observe the Pacific Ocean. Finally, on the way back, you will pass the Murphy Windmill, Polo Grounds, and Meston Lake.
