Description

(Re)discover Greco-Roman history with a walk through the archaeological site of the Valley of the Temples and visit the famous Villa Romana del Casale with its incredible mosaics!

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Catania and set off towards southern Sicily. 

You'll first visit the archaeological site of the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This site comprises 7 temples, including the famous and perfectly preserved Concordia temple. During your visit, you'll also see numerous other temples and strucutures that date back to Ancient Greece. 

Once done, you can take a well-earned rest. A typical Sicilian snack will be served alongside a glass of wine from the Etna vineyards. 

Afterwards, you'll head to Piazza Armerina. You'll visit the stunning Villa Romana del Casale, which is close to the city. This ancient villa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's particularly well-known for its 3,500 m² of mosaics, its columns and statues. 

Once the tour is over, you'll be driven back to your hotel in Catania.
