You'll be picked up from your hotel and set off towards Etna National Park. On arrival, your guide will take you on a walk through the vegetation, ancient lava flow sites, and extinct side craters.
You'll later enjoy a picnic lunch while admiring the surrounding landscape.
In the afternoon, you'll explore a volcanic cave. Your guide will provide you with the necessary equipment to explore the depths of the volcano in complete safety. You'll have the opportunity to learn more about caving and volcanic eruptions.
At the end of the day, you'll be driven back to your hotel in Catania.

- Availability: every day (except under exceptional circumstances)
- Meet-up time and place: 9 am at your hotel in Catania. The exact time and place will be reconfirmed after booking
- The excursion is not recommended for people with cardio-respiratory diseases
- Please wear sturdy, closed sports or hiking shoes and thick socks. Don't forget to bring a jacket as the temperature at higher altitudes can be lower (about 10 to 15 degrees cooler than in Catania). If necessary, you can borrow equipment. Please inform us when booking if required. Just to let you know, loaned equipment may be a little dated
- The tour itinerary can change depending on the weather conditions and according to restrictions imposed by the local authorities. Whatever the reason, our local tour operator will inform you in advance. In the event of a cancellation, an alternative date or a refund will be offered to you
