Discover the charming villages of San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Montalcino. On the way, you will stop in different wine cellars in the region to sample some Tuscan products.
Your guide will collect you in a minibus from Siena's city center.
Your first stop will be San Gimignano, known as the "Manhattan of the Middle Ages" for its tall casetorri buildings. Stroll around the historic centre, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in your own time to discover its charm.
You will then head off towards Monteriggioni. After a short visit to the fortress, you will enjoy a typical lunch accompanied by some wine from the Chianti region.
After lunch, you'll get back on the road and travel through the Orcia Valley, another jewel of Tuscany, also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. When you reach the fortified town of Montalcino, you'll be taken on a guided tour of the historic centre.
Your final stop will be at a wine cellar, where you'll get the chance to taste the famous "Brunello di Montalcino" and other typical regional products.
You will return to central Siena in the late afternoon.
