Discover Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Lacock and Bath on a day trip from London !
After meeting your guide in central London in the early morning, you'll depart for the first stop of your day: Windsor Castle.
Perched above the River Thames and housing over 900 years of royal history, nearly 40 monarchs have succeeded one another here. Depending on the option you choose, you'll have the opportunity to be in the first groups to enter the castle in the morning, and can freely visit the state apartments and St. George's Chapel. You can learn more with the audioguide available in the castle.
Then on to the village of Lacock, where many scenes from the Harry Potter films were shot. After a guided walk through the village, you'll head to the George Inn, a 14th-century pub for lunch.
You'll continue to the Georgian town of Bath. On board your coach, you'll enjoy views of the town before visiting it on foot, where you'll see Bath Abbey (entrance not included) or Pulteney Bridge.
Your final destination will be the site of Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built nearly 5,000 years ago, this mysterious place will invite you to ask yourself many questions : why did you gather these stones in this way in this place ? How could such heavy stones be transported with the means available at the time? On this day, you'll be able to form your own opinion (optional) !
