Thanks to this SIM card, which is valid for 8, 16 or 31 days, you'll have unlimited 4G internet access on your unlocked smartphone throughout the country. 
You'll be able to use your transport apps any time when you're on the move, or your message apps to keep in touch with your loved ones, etc.

You can collect your SIM card once you're in Japan, at one of the following points:
- Your hotel
- Tourist Information Centre in Harajuku (Tokyo)

Insert the SIM card into your phone, follow the set-up instructions and use as much mobile data as you like!

Good to know

  • Availability: every day (except under exceptional circumstances)
  • You can collect your SIM card from one of the following collection points:
    - Your hotel
    - Tourist Information Centre in Harajuku (Tokyo)
  • If you want to collect it from your hotel, please provide:
    - The name of your hotel
    - The reservation number and the name of the person who made the reservation
    - Your date of arrival
    The SIM card will be given to you when you check in
    The SIM card cannot be sent to home addresses or youth hostels. Please select the Tourist Information Centre if you are not staying at a hotel during your visit
  • The Harajuku Tourist Information Centre is open daily non-stop from 10am to 6pm. The full address will be on your voucher
    Please present your voucher when collecting the SIM card
  • The SIM card is available in standard, micro or nano format
  • Please ensure your phone is unblocked before booking. You'll not be able to use the SIM card if your phone is blocked, and you won't be given a refund
  • This data SIM card just provides mobile internet access on your phone. Calls and non-app text messages are not included. You'll still be able to make and receive calls and send messages via messaging apps
  • Mobile data is unlimited, but speeds may slow down if you use more than 3 GB
  • 99% of Japan is covered by the 4G network.
