Description

Set off on a culinary adventure to Toronto's St. Lawrence Market and sample some local specialities!

You'll start your visit with a stroll through Berczy Park. Your guide will then take you to a local café for tea or coffee. You'll also get to sample the delicious apple cake from a well-known nearby Toronto sandwich shop.

Afterwards, you'll head to St. Lawrence Market! It was founded in 1803 and is considered to be one of the oldest markets in North America. You'll find a variety of fresh produce, culinary specialities, and crafts.

The market is divided into several sections, including the South Market and the North Market. The South Market is home to a variety of stalls selling fresh produce such as fruit, vegetables, meat and fish... The North Market also has a wide selection of food products, as well as stalls selling crafts, jewellery, clothing and other items.

While you're in the market, you'll have the opportunity to try a local speciality such as Peameal's bacon sandwich, a famous Toronto snack!

During this tour, you'll sample dishes that are deeply rooted in Toronto's culture. Your guide will share stories and interesting facts about these dishes that have become an integral part of Canadian culture.
