Description

Departing from your hotel, your guide will take you on a tour of the city’s key sites and attractions.

Your day will begin with a visit of Xi’an’s famous clay army. Admire the thousands of terracotta warriors, chariots and horses buried in the mausoleum of China’s first emperor! Follow with a visit to a workshop to see artisans at work reproducing the clay figures.

The tour continues with a trip to the Hua Qing hot springs. Situated at the foot of Mount Li, the hot springs are dominated by the Huaqing Palace built in the 7th century by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang dynasty. Lunch at a local restaurant before returning to central Xi'an.

After your meal, explore the old city of Xi’an and discover the city walls that are one of the country’s oldest and most complete fortifications. The tour also includes a visit of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the Da Ci’en Temple.

After a day of exploration, enjoy a festive dinner of traditional ravioli. Xi’an ravioli are made following a technique dating back to the Tang dynasty.

The day ends with the Xi’an Tang Dynasty Show, a spectacular historical performance. The show retraces traditional Chinese life during the Tang dynasty from 618 to 907.
